Kate Markowska Biography

I’m Polish born fashion designer who moved to the UK in 2006 and stayed here since. I was raised in
Zgorzelec-Gorlitz, little town on the boarder of Germany. From young age I was very creative
always making my own toys and clothes for them, then I have enjoyed discovering graphic software
and designing websites and logos what lead me to enrol to an Art College in Wroclaw where
I studied art and graphic design. Later I decided to take my creative journey further and to study
Fashion Design in Northampton UK.

       Having conceptualised, designed and launched my own business, MKT Accessory Design,
I have got proven track record of being very organized and innovative designer. I am versatile
and energetic person who quickly adapts to any environment, maintaining high standards and
an unsurpassed work ethic.

       I am a person full of vision designing and making accessories that are eye pleasing and
multifunctional. When working on new projects I am always excited about technical side of the
products and how I can improve its performance. I particularly enjoy working with people in a
creatively stimulating environment, I’m determined to do well at everything and work hard to
achieve best results. I have got excellent communication and interpersonal skills, can keep cool in
different situations.
